Q. How long does it take to create a bible or a look book?

A. Based on a 48 page series bible, usually we’d allow three working weeks. For a 12 page look book, you’re looking at around five days. Some of the variables tend to be feedback time - ideally you’d let us know your amends and changes within 24 hours of us sending you a working draft. We’ll then get straight back to you.

Q. How much do these thing’s cost?

A. A 12 page look book starts at $1000, a 48 page series bible starts at $4000. This covers art direction, design and copywriting and editing. Variables will include the format you choose, the amount of copy, and the complexity of the design.

Q. Are there any hidden costs in that?

A. No. What’s NOT included in the fees above are image licensing costs and printing costs. These tend to vary job by job. We will work to your budget, and only license images that don’t break the bank. The print costs depend entirely on the size of the print run, and the format you choose. Once you’ve decided upon that, we let you know the costs of printing.

Q. Do these work on screen as well as in print as I tend to prefer electronic versions?

A. Yes. Included in the fee is a PDF version of your design. This will work perfectly on both desktop and laptop machines. We can re-originate your design purely for smartphone for a small additional fee.

Q. How long are printing and shipping times?

A. Printing takes five days from submission of final artwork. It is possible to print quicker if you’re in a hurry. Shipping will vary depending on which State or country you are in. We’ll ship according to your preference.

Q. What do you need from me to get started?

A. The bear minimum is your treatment and/or script. We also have a very simple ‘Creative Brief’ for you to fill out. This basically outlines your vision for the design, and gives us a few pointers. You can be as prescriptive as you like. We require half of the payment up front, and half upon successful completion of your design. And we all sign an NDA.
